Wilson Diniz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlinhos Penha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlinhos Penha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilson Diniz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlinhos Penha, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. The long shot by Carlos Eduardo Munhoz in the 25th minute really tested Wilson Diniz's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 30 minutes into the match, Almir Breckenfeld notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Amorinopolis's Wilson Diniz. Wilson Diniz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 34 minutes, Dudu Sanches mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Itapiruna SC and the Amorinopolis players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Amorinopolis booed when Itapiruna SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dudu Sanches didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute Carlinhos Penha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Diniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlinhos Penha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilson Diniz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 63rd minute Almir Breckenfeld shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Diniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Amorinopolis getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Marcus Recife hit a great ball. Itapiruna SC's Carlinhos Penha got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 68 minutes, Carlinhos Penha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 92nd minute, Dudu Sanches had to leave the field with a concussion. Marcus Recife got his second yellow card in the match during the 92nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Amorinopolis's Marcus Recife got a free kick in the 94th minute. After 98 minutes, Carlinhos Penha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Itapiruna SC and the Amorinopolis players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 98 played minutes Itapiruna SC got a freekick which was hit by Carlinhos Penha. Itapiruna SC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
