In the 10th minute Tostão Trancoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hudson Alvarenga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tostão Trancoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulão Gonçalves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Arnaldo de Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Profana's Arnaldo de Queirós got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to DISTRITO FEDERAL LADRÕES getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Nando de Castro hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute Profana were awarded a corner. Ediberto Porto went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Mário Souto managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 47th minute, Arnaldo de Queirós got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 51stth minute of the game Tostão Trancoso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DISTRITO FEDERAL LADRÕES's Hudson Alvarenga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After taking down the ball on Profana's corner Ediberto Porto fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hudson Alvarenga quite easily take care of the ball. Profana's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
