After 12 minutes, Délio Amorim made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. J.A. 100's Téo Fernandez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Téo Fernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Pontes in the 18th minute of the match. Téo Fernandez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Délio Amorim went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. If Roberto Pontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Téo Fernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Délio Amorim in the 30th minute of the match. Júlio Madureira hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the match, J.A. 100's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Pontes came free, but Téo Fernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Cruz das Almas FC's zone, Marcinho Furlan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cesinha Berger came out of the goal and Marcinho Furlan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47th minute, Wilian de Souza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wilian de Souza made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Marcinho Furlan managed to get in a good position for a shot. J.A. 100's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcinho Furlan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cesinha Berger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, J.A. 100's Téo Fernandez got control of the ball when Roberto Pontes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cesinha Berger came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by J.A. 100's Wilian de Souza. But to his dismay, Wilian de Souza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Marcinho Furlan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Cesinha Berger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute Délio Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Téo Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Roberto Pontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Marcinho Furlan managed to get in a good position for a shot. J.A. 100's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcinho Furlan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The corner led Cruz das Almas FC's Ramón Vieira to fire away a dangerous shot which Téo Fernandez despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Téo Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Délio Amorim in the 89th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
