Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kiko Perez took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 played minutes Manacanau got a freekick which was hit by Ediberto de Amorim. The supporters of Moquenho booed when Manacanau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Alberto Magalhães didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Furtado in the 9th minute of play forced Moquenho's goalkeeper Valério Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th match minute, Moquenho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rony Tróia to maneuver through the defense. Rafael Furtado struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Valério Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frederico do Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Cássio Marques could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Beto de Souza made a huge save. In the 34th minute, Rafael Furtado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Moquenho's Valério Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frederico do Vale in the 36th minute of play. Rafael Furtado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valério Senna having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

54 minutes into the match, Manacanau's goal looked a bit too open when Válter Alvarenga came free, but Beto de Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valério Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frederico do Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After 57 minutes of play Moquenho's Rony Tróia was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 58th minute, Rafael Furtado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Frederico do Vale took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Valério Senna to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafael Furtado got free with Valério Senna in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 68 minutes, Cássio Marques managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moquenho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cássio Marques was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Frederico do Vale blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valério Senna having to make a save. With a little luck, Moquenho's Valério Senna got control of the ball when Rafael Furtado tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 76 minutes, Frederico do Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 89th minute Frederico do Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valério Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Frederico do Vale came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Manacanau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frederico do Vale couldn't finish the play. Moquenho's defense didn't have a chance, in the 96th minute, when Frederico do Vale scored to the left of an out of position Valério Senna, making the score, 0-3. Manacanau's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
