Michel Cordeiro shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anísio Rodrigues made a kick off. Gernando Mesquita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anísio Rodrigues in the 57th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Reginaldo França could shoot a difficult shot in the 69th minute, which Gernando Mesquita however easily saved by the left post.
