After a rather tough play, Delwius F.C.'s Richard Maranhense got a free kick in the 16th minute. The Delwius F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Perus AD were winning 0-1.

54 minutes into the match, Delwius F.C.'s goalkeeper Falcão Baiano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reginaldo França. The Perus AD fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Perus AD's Anísio Rodrigues looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anísio Rodrigues in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Falcão Baiano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Reginaldo França received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Perus AD's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
