Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dorival Vale started the match with the kick off. 1-0 became the score in the 3rd minute when Rafael Furtado elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Beto de Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruninho Mello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frederico do Vale struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Falcão Baiano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manacanau. When Frederico do Vale, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 17 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Falcão Baiano was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Manacanau's Rafael Furtado slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Falcão Baiano. That made the score 2-0 after 19 minutes of play. 22 minutes into the match, Delwius F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Frederico do Vale came free, but Falcão Baiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruninho Mello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of Delwius F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Manacanau:s goal. The goalkeeper, Falcão Baiano, was totally fooled by Manacanau's José Carlos Queirós, who 27 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Falcão Baiano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frederico do Vale's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Rafael Furtado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute, Nelsinho Sena left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Manacanau fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. In the 47th minute of the match, Frederico do Vale tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Falcão Baiano saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frederico do Vale stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Delwius F.C. booed when Manacanau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nelsinho Sena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frederico do Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Falcão Baiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute Frederico do Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Falcão Baiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frederico do Vale in the 57th minute of play forced Delwius F.C.'s goalkeeper Falcão Baiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frederico do Vale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 61 minutes, Osvaldinho Matorin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Delwius F.C. and the Manacanau players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 61st match minute, Delwius F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldinho Matorin to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute Frederico do Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Falcão Baiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Delwius F.C.'s Horácio Nogueira got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Falcão Baiano came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Manacanau's Frederico do Vale. But to his dismay, Frederico do Vale quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Delwius F.C.'s Falcão Baiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Furtado in the 71st minute of play. Falcão Baiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Furtado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes in the game, Rafael Furtado dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Manacanau had played much better football throughout.
