Spectators: 7243 (Terracing: 5433, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Anísio Rodrigues started the match with the kick off. Cássio Donato got in the 4th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Flavinho Cardozo handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Luís Fernando Correia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reginaldo França, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reginaldo França in the 12th minute of play forced Ibertioga's goalkeeper Luís Fernando Correia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Anísio Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Perus AD's Betinho Meira got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Reginaldo França fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Fernando Correia having to interfere. Reginaldo França sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Perus AD's Flavinho Cardozo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cássio Donato in the 30th minute of play. João Bueno hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Luís Fernando Correia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anísio Rodrigues in the 35th minute of the match. Cássio Donato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Flavinho Cardozo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Augusto Koehler's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flavinho Cardozo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Cássio Donato recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Perus AD's Flavinho Cardozo got control of the ball when Cássio Donato tried to sneak it across the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cássio Donato to make the kick off. Flavinho Cardozo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio Donato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michel Cordeiro made in the 62nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Ibertioga's João Augusto Koehler. After 64 minutes, Cássio Donato made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Perus AD's Flavinho Cardozo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Ibertioga's Laerte Alves got a free kick in the 68th minute. Ibertioga were furious when Benê Teixeira was red carded, 77 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 76th minute of the game. One of Ibertioga:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Perus AD:s goal. Michel Cordeiro placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 82nd minute, Cássio Donato left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ibertioga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After 85 played minutes Perus AD got a freekick which was hit by Murilo Vieira. Luís Fernando Correia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anísio Rodrigues in the 88th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Anísio Rodrigues got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ibertioga were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Perus AD for a fine match.
