Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Anísio Rodrigues kicked off to start the match. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Manacanau's goalkeeper Beto de Souza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Flavinho Cardozo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frederico do Vale in the 8th minute of the match. After 9 played minutes Perus AD got a freekick which was hit by Betinho Meira. Frederico do Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavinho Cardozo having to interfere. The supporters of Manacanau booed when Perus AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo de Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafael Furtado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavinho Cardozo having to interfere. Rafael Furtado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Rafael Furtado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manacanau's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafael Furtado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flavinho Cardozo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Reginaldo França recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frederico do Vale in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavinho Cardozo saved Perus AD from getting behind. Flavinho Cardozo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Furtado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nelsinho Sena kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Perus AD's goalkeeper Flavinho Cardozo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Reginaldo França managed to get in a good position for a shot. Perus AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Reginaldo França was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Beto de Souza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Perus AD's Anísio Rodrigues got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ediberto de Amorim charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ediberto de Amorim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ediberto de Amorim hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frederico do Vale made a kick off. After some careless play in the Manacanau defense, Anísio Rodrigues kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Beto de Souza. The Manacanau fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Beto de Souza should have stopped the shot. When Rafael Furtado fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manacanau's protests and gave Rafael Furtado a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 65 minutes, Rafael Furtado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manacanau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Furtado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anísio Rodrigues in the 68th minute of play forced Manacanau's goalkeeper Beto de Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Reginaldo França notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Manacanau's Beto de Souza. Beto de Souza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Beto de Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reginaldo França, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flavinho Cardozo came out of the goal and Frederico do Vale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Perus AD's goalkeeper Flavinho Cardozo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ediberto de Amorim hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute Frederico do Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavinho Cardozo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Perus AD's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
