Spectators: 6655 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 0) Lanceiro FC's Júlio Tasso got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Júlio Tasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 14 played minutes Burizeiro got a freekick which was hit by Geraldo Gomes. Durval Donatello kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Lanceiro FC's José Maria Ribeiro couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 16th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Burizeiro. Luís Leme's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute, Afonso Catarinense skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Paulo Custódio kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Luís Leme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Catarinense having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Gonçalo Borges got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luís Leme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Afonso Catarinense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Burizeiro's Afonso Catarinense got control of the ball when Luís Leme tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Nuno Novaes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Paulo Custódio fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lanceiro FC's protests and gave Paulo Custódio a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Lanceiro FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Paulo Custódio hit a great ball. In the 47th minute of the match Glauco de Amorim shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rubinho Bueno showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Júlio Tasso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute Júlio Tasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Catarinense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gonçalo Borges in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rubinho Bueno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Lanceiro FC's zone, Gonçalo Borges stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rubinho Bueno came out of the goal and Gonçalo Borges tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 67 minutes in the game, Nuno Novaes fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Rubinho Bueno having to interfere. Lanceiro FC's Rubinho Bueno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonçalo Borges in the 74th minute of play. 1-0 became the score in the 77th minute when Júlio Tasso elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Júlio Tasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Leme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Afonso Catarinense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodolfo Gerber's late challenge caught a Burizeiro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodolfo Gerber helped the player get up and apologised. Rodolfo Gerber kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Rubinho Bueno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nuno Novaes in the 94th minute. Gonçalo Borges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Lanceiro FC had won after a very even match.
