Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Burizeiro's Gonçalo Borges started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alexandre Capixaba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Váldson Simão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Holt FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Váldson Simão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Afonso Catarinense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Alexandre Capixaba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diamantino Ribeiro's late challenge caught a Burizeiro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diamantino Ribeiro helped the player get up and apologised. After 10 played minutes Holt FC got a freekick which was hit by Diamantino Ribeiro. Nuno Novaes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 13 played minutes Holt FC got a freekick which was hit by Diamantino Ribeiro. Gonçalo Borges might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dinei Lopes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gonçalo Borges ran back to his position shaking his head. 16 minutes in the game, Alexandre Capixaba fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Afonso Catarinense having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Alexandre Capixaba fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Afonso Catarinense, passed just outside the right post. Afonso Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Capixaba in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Capixaba in the 24th minute of play forced Burizeiro's goalkeeper Afonso Catarinense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Belmiro Baiano fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Burizeiro's protests and gave Belmiro Baiano a yellow card for diving instead. Belmiro Baiano kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Burizeiro's Afonso Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Capixaba in the 27th minute of play. Dinei Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonçalo Borges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd match minute, Burizeiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Belmiro Baiano to maneuver through the defense. Burizeiro's Afonso Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Capixaba in the 34th minute of play. Váldson Simão scored 1-0 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Afonso Catarinense, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 39thth minute of the game Alexandre Capixaba who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Burizeiro's Afonso Catarinense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gonçalo Borges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinei Lopes having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonçalo Borges in the 45th minute of play forced Holt FC's goalkeeper Dinei Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Alexandre Capixaba made the kick off in the second half. If Gonçalo Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armando Fontes hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. A hard shot 64 in the game by Nuno Novaes from a close distance when the talented Dinei Lopes managed to make a qualified save. Holt FC's players were relieved. Burizeiro's Gonçalo Borges got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 72 minutes, Alexandre Capixaba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Holt FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandre Capixaba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alexandre Capixaba blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Afonso Catarinense having to make a save. Alexandre Capixaba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was beautiful to see Burizeiro's Glauco de Amorim in action when he in the 85th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Alexandre Capixaba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Catarinense having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Holt FC's goalkeeper Dinei Lopes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nuno Novaes. An unexpected shot in the 93rd minute by Nuno Novaes got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Nuno Novaes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Holt FC had won after a very even match.
