After a rather tough play, Burizeiro's Belmiro Baiano got a free kick in the 19th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Durval Donatello during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 20 played minutes Burizeiro got a freekick which was hit by Durval Donatello. After recieving a nice pass, Minecraft Futebol Clube's Celso Mandrak tried to score from far away in the 21st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Nuno Novaes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Burizeiro's Dagoberto Marinho pulled a muscle in his back after 27 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In the 28th minute, Jerônimo Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chicão Simão kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Minecraft Futebol Clube fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 31st minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Luiz Gustavo Pinheiro, was totally fooled by Burizeiro's Glauco de Amorim, who 33 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filipe Matorin in the 40th minute of play forced Burizeiro's goalkeeper Afonso Catarinense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Afonso Catarinense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filipe Matorin in the 47th minute of the match. In the 48th minute, Belmiro Baiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Paulo Maranhense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Filipe Matorin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aírton Galvão kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Burizeiro were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Minecraft Futebol Clube's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Glauco de Amorim took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Nuno Novaes managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Lenílson Abreu hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filipe Matorin in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Afonso Catarinense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Filipe Matorin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Afonso Catarinense. That made the score 2-1 in the 69 minute of play. In the 74th minute, Nuno Novaes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Belmiro Baiano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Burizeiro's supporters rose to their feet, but Belmiro Baiano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Gustavo Pinheiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Minecraft Futebol Clube's Aírton Galvão got a free kick in the 77th minute. Nuno Novaes might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luiz Gustavo Pinheiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nuno Novaes ran back to his position shaking his head. Afonso Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filipe Matorin in the 86th minute of play. Minecraft Futebol Clube's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
