In the 7th minute, CRAC FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Pedro Paulo Maranhense fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, Minecraft Futebol Clube's Álvaro Barral got a free kick in the 7th minute. After recieving a nice pass, CRAC FC's Ronaldinho Veiga tried to score from far away in the 8th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Júlio Maranhense took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luiz Gustavo Pinheiro. Luiz Gustavo Pinheiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 25th minute Júlio Maranhense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Gustavo Pinheiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Minecraft Futebol Clube's Lenílson Abreu got a free kick in the 35th minute. Luiz Gustavo Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélio Souza in the 37th minute of the match. After the first half CRAC FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Filipe Matorin to make the kick off. Júlio Maranhense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Gustavo Pinheiro having to interfere. When Lenílson Abreu fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Minecraft Futebol Clube's protests and gave Lenílson Abreu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 55th minute of the match CRAC FC got a corner. Minecraft Futebol Clube's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ronaldinho Veiga ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ronaldinho Veiga made a great header on CRAC FC's corner, it was just that Minecraft Futebol Clube's Luiz Gustavo Pinheiro managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, CRAC FC's Bruno Baptista got a free kick in the 59th minute. After 62 played minutes Minecraft Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Hudson Dracena. In the 68th minute, Aírton Galvão left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Minecraft Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. CRAC FC's Nico Fontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filipe Matorin in the 74th minute of play. If Hélio Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luiz Gustavo Pinheiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hélio Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, CRAC FC's Luiz Gustavo Pinheiro threw himself towards the right post 88 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hélio Souza, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 91 minutes into the match, Aírton Galvão notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of CRAC FC's Nico Fontes. Nico Fontes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Despite being the better team, CRAC FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
