CRAC FC's Nico Fontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlinhos Andrade in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélio Souza in the 16th minute of play forced Karakura FC's goalkeeper Túlio Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Hélio Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karakura FC's Túlio Neto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Karakura FC from getting a goal against them. With his leg Túlio Neto managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when CRAC FC's Júlio Maranhense fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice moves Júlio Maranhense could shoot a difficult shot in the 25th minute, which Túlio Neto however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, Karakura FC's Edgar Azevedo got a free kick in the 28th minute. After 33 minutes, Aníbal Rocha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CRAC FC and the Karakura FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Karakura FC booed when CRAC FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aníbal Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, CRAC FC's Vitinho Donato got a free kick in the 35th minute. Júlio Maranhense blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Túlio Neto having to make a save. Júlio Teles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hélio Souza to make the kick off. Júlio Maranhense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Túlio Neto having to interfere. Túlio Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélio Souza in the 55th minute of play. After taking down the ball on CRAC FC's corner Bruno Baptista fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Túlio Neto quite easily take care of the ball. Hélio Souza struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Túlio Neto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CRAC FC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hélio Souza in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Túlio Neto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Túlio Neto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hélio Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Júlio Maranhense managed to get in a good position for a shot. CRAC FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Júlio Maranhense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Túlio Neto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 68 minutes into the match, Karakura FC's goal looked a bit too open when Júlio Maranhense came free, but Túlio Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hélio Souza charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hélio Souza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, CRAC FC's Hélio Souza got a free kick in the 70th minute.
