Murilo Trigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexandre Capixaba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Prado having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Capixaba in the 13th minute of play forced Tatu Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Juan Prado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Váldson Simão kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Juan Prado. That made the score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. In the 20thth minute of the game Nando Pombal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Holt FC's Dinei Lopes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Diamantino Ribeiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juan Prado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Diamantino Ribeiro ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Tatu Futebol Clube's Laerte Azevedo got a free kick in the 25th minute. Agnaldo Matos kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Tatu Futebol Clube's Juan Prado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Capixaba in the 37th minute of play. Juan Prado made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Diamantino Ribeiro sent off a good shot on target. Murilo Trigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinei Lopes having to interfere.

The wind increased when Alexandre Capixaba made the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Laerte Azevedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tatu Futebol Clube and the Holt FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 53 played minutes Tatu Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Laerte Azevedo. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexandre Capixaba in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juan Prado saved Tatu Futebol Clube from getting behind. In the 62nd minute Alexandre Capixaba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Prado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexandre Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Alexandre Capixaba came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Holt FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandre Capixaba couldn't finish the play. 87 minutes into the match, Tatu Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre Capixaba came free, but Juan Prado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roberto Hoffmann kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Tatu Futebol Clube's Laerte Azevedo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 91st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Dinei Lopes but with some difficulty. When Alexandre Capixaba came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Holt FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandre Capixaba couldn't finish the play. When the referee ended the match the Holt FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
