Wolverine FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silas Peixoto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Wolverine FC's zone, Víktor Amaral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodriguinho Gomes came out of the goal and Víktor Amaral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Wolverine FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Juvenal Motta hit a great ball. Adilson Matos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Rodriguinho Gomes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Wolverine FC booed when ufc mister was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elder de Andrade didn't get a good kick on the ball. The coaching staff of Wolverine FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Laerte do Vale had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 81 minutes, Natã Vargas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ufc mister and the Wolverine FC players grew even worse after the yellow card.
