In the 13th minute, Cris Burgos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jary fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Cris Burgos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Trovão Azul's Cristiano Pires came free and shot a quick shot against goal 22 minutes in the game, fortunately Nando Pontes had problems saving as it came toward the left post. In the 24th minute, Efim Onegin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cris Burgos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Prado having to interfere. Nando Pontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sidney Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. The audience held their breath when Erik Sabóia in the 35th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Artur Prado's left hand side. Efim Onegin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Artur Prado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Trovão Azul's zone, Cris Burgos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artur Prado came out of the goal and Cris Burgos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 62 minutes into the match, Jary's goal looked a bit too open when Sidney Brito came free, but Nando Pontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 64th minute of the game. One of Jary:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Trovão Azul:s goal. The referee gave Trovão Azul a penalty, 65 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by César Nunes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Jary's Nando Pontes. 2-1. Jary's Cris Burgos got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Trovão Azul's Artur Prado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Trovão Azul from getting a goal against them. José Pedro Félix succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 78th playminute. Nando Pontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Pires, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 83 minutes into the match, Jary's goal looked a bit too open when Sidney Brito came free, but Nando Pontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cris Burgos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Efim Onegin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nando Pontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Pires in the 95th minute of play. Jary's Nando Pontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidney Brito in the 98th minute of play. The Trovão Azul players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
