Toronto Raptors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trovão Azul the free kick. Artur Prado had great luck who in the 7thth minute grab hold of the ball when Alessandro do Valle from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Jean Bertassi charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jean Bertassi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Toronto Raptors getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Toronto Raptors's Richard Cosme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Pires in the 12th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Toronto Raptors's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Pires came free, but Richard Cosme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Richard Cosme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sidney Brito in the 16th minute of play. Alessandro do Valle hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Richard Cosme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidney Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, Trovão Azul's goalkeeper Artur Prado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ronaldo Dionísio. In the 23rd minute, Alessandro do Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jailson Magalhães recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th minute, Ronaldo Dionísio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Artur Prado was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. If Ronaldo Dionísio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 39 minutes into the game, Douglas Schmidt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Trovão Azul's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Toronto Raptors the free kick. Douglas Schmidt hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After 45 played minutes Jailson Magalhães rounded Trovão Azul's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Jailson Magalhães made the kick off in the second half. Sidney Brito's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Richard Cosme read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes into the game, Trovão Azul's Cristiano Pires nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Richard Cosme made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 58th minute, Jailson Magalhães made a precise shot to the right of Artur Prado. Trovão Azul's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Artur Prado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jailson Magalhães in the 61st minute of the match. Oscar Cardozo hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Toronto Raptors's zone, Sidney Brito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Richard Cosme came out of the goal and Sidney Brito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sidney Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Cosme having to interfere. Richard Cosme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sidney Brito in the 76th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Válter Damião hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Artur Prado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jailson Magalhães in the 83rd minute of the match. César Nunes shot the penalty kick right outside the post. If Sidney Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Trovão Azul players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Toronto Raptors.
