Spectators: 7323 (Terracing: 5494, Seating: 1684, VIP seats: 145) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Benê Carneiro started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benê Carneiro during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Yellow Jegue booed when Ingaseiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benê Carneiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Giovanni Trancoso in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vicente Abreu saved Ingaseiro from getting behind. Yellow Jegue's Bernardinho Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benê Carneiro in the 12th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Yellow Jegue's Carlos Fernando Esteves got a free kick in the 15th minute. Aírton Pontes kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ingaseiro's zone, Giovanni Trancoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vicente Abreu came out of the goal and Giovanni Trancoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ingaseiro's Laércio Veloso got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 35 played minutes Yellow Jegue got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Neto. In the 37th minute Benê Carneiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardinho Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ingaseiro's Vicente Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giovanni Trancoso in the 38th minute of play. Vicente Abreu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Toscano in the 42nd minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After 51 played minutes Yellow Jegue got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Fernando Esteves. Bernardinho Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laércio Veloso in the 56th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Ingaseiro's goalkeeper Vicente Abreu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giovanni Trancoso. After a rather tough play, Yellow Jegue's Leonardo Silveira got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 67th minute, Benê Carneiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leonardo Neto kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Vicente Abreu came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Yellow Jegue's Giovanni Trancoso. But to his dismay, Giovanni Trancoso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Yellow Jegue walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
