Gororos
Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Christian Xavier kicked off to start the match. Gororos's Richard Vargas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dráuzio Prestes in the 6th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Vágner Paranaense had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonardo Neto during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dráuzio Prestes in the 25th minute of play forced Gororos's goalkeeper Richard Vargas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Richard Vargas came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Yellow Jegue's Dráuzio Prestes. But to his dismay, Dráuzio Prestes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 30 minutes into the match, Gororos's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Toscano came free, but Richard Vargas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute Giovanni Trancoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Vargas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 36 minutes of play, Yellow Jegue's Dráuzio Prestes made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Richard Vargas was left in no man's land by his defense there!

Cristian Toscano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Richard Vargas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Gororos's goalkeeper Richard Vargas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giovanni Trancoso. In the 55th minute, Gororos's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cristian Toscano fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Cristian Toscano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Giovanni Trancoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Richard Vargas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute Alfredo Maciel suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Betinho de Sena during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 67th match minute, Gororos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Betinho de Sena to maneuver through the defense. Giovanni Trancoso in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Richard Vargas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 72 minutes, Ivo Saldanha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gororos and the Yellow Jegue players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 72nd minute, Ivo Saldanha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Giovanni Trancoso who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Richard Vargas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 79th minute, Gororos's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cristian Toscano fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 82nd minute, Giovanni Trancoso fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 84 minutes into the game, Carlos Fernando Esteves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yellow Jegue's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gororos the free kick. Carlos Fernando Esteves kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Dráuzio Prestes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Vargas having to interfere. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gororos's goalkeeper Richard Vargas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Evaristo Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Richard Vargas managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when Yellow Jegue's Giovanni Trancoso fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Giovanni Trancosos short, quick shot in the 97thth minute got Richard Vargas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Yellow Jegue's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
