Spectators: 6659 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 0) Ibiaci SS's Ernesto Diniz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bernardinho Galvão kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. When Ernesto Diniz came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Ibiaci SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernesto Diniz couldn't finish the play. 28 minutes into the match, Ernesto Diniz notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Gororos's Richard Vargas. Richard Vargas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Betinho de Sena was the one to do the kick off. In the 59th minute Ernesto Diniz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Vargas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gororos's Richard Vargas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Diniz in the 65th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Diniz in the 69th minute of play forced Gororos's goalkeeper Richard Vargas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vágner Paranaense during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 71 minutes into the match, Gororos's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Diniz came free, but Richard Vargas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Richard Vargas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Richard Vargas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ernesto Diniz's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Bernardinho Galvão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Vargas having to interfere.
