But to his dismay, Wilson de Salles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After having played for 27 minutes, Wilson de Salles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Athletico Redemptor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilson de Salles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilson de Salles in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luiz Gustavo Neto saved Demolition FC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Beto Aparecido managed to get in a good position for a shot. Demolition FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Beto Aparecido was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danilo Vinhas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Club Athletico Redemptor getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Luiz Fábio Magalhães hit a great ball. Virgílio Quadros kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Demolition FC's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Garcia came free, but Luiz Gustavo Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Club Athletico Redemptor booed when Demolition FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romário Guimarães didn't get a good kick on the ball. Demolition FC's Luiz Gustavo Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Garcia in the 43rd minute of play. Luiz Gustavo Neto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute Beto Aparecido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Vinhas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Beto Aparecido to make the kick off. After 76 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Club Athletico Redemptor! In the 79th minute there was a penalty for Demolition FC. Serafim Cabral stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Danilo Vinhas. 1-2. When the match was over Club Athletico Redemptor could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Demolition FC throughout the match.
