Wanderson Tinoco started the match with the kick off. Gil Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wanderson Tinoco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorge Arantes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erivaldo Dracena blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elliot Håning having to make a save. Wanderson Tinoco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Percy Campidelis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Jumirim getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Alexsandro Luz hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Commerciale FC's zone, Erivaldo Dracena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elliot Håning came out of the goal and Erivaldo Dracena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Percy Campidelis came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Commerciale FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Percy Campidelis couldn't finish the play. If Wanderson Tinoco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gil Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wanderson Tinoco in the 37th minute of play. Commerciale FC's Elliot Håning played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Arantes in the 48th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jorge Arantes to strike the kick off in the second half. Jumirim's Erivaldo Dracena got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. João Vítor Guedes tried in the 53rd minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Elliot Håning a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 0-1. Percy Campidelis struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Gil Souza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Commerciale FC. Gil Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wanderson Tinoco in the 63rd minute of play. If Wanderson Tinoco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Percy Campidelis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Jumirim defense, Wanderson Tinoco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gil Souza. The Jumirim fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gil Souza should have stopped the shot. 74 minutes into the match, Commerciale FC's goalkeeper Elliot Håning had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erivaldo Dracena. After a rather tough play, Jumirim's Alexsandro Luz got a free kick in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Percy Campidelis in the 77th minute of play forced Jumirim's goalkeeper Gil Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Wanderson Tinoco came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Commerciale FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wanderson Tinoco couldn't finish the play. In the 84th minute, Wanderson Tinoco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wanderson Tinoco in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gil Souza saved Jumirim from getting behind.
