After having played for 7 minutes, Teodoro Trigo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jumirim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodoro Trigo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcinho Trevisan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erivaldo Dracena in the 9th minute of play. MeninoMeuFC's Christian Pereira pulled a muscle in his back after 12 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 13 minutes into the game, Francisco Barbosa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jumirim's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MeninoMeuFC the free kick. The referee gave MeninoMeuFC a penalty, 15 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Laerte Rosa, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Jumirim's Gil Souza. 1-0. Joel Ihintza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Gil Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. MeninoMeuFC's Joel Ihintza got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 25 played minutes Jumirim got a freekick which was hit by Armando Peres. With a little luck, Jumirim's Gil Souza got control of the ball when Joel Ihintza tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Jumirim defense, Joel Ihintza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gil Souza. The Jumirim fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gil Souza should have stopped the shot. Joel Ihintza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Gil Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joel Ihintza in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gil Souza saved Jumirim from getting behind. 37 minutes into the game, Gino Dias cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Gil Souza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gil Souza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Ihintza, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Joel Ihintza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jorge Arantes to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Fabrício Baiano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jumirim's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MeninoMeuFC the free kick. In the 55th minute there was a penalty for MeninoMeuFC. Laerte Rosa stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gil Souza. 4-0. Jumirim's Gil Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Ihintza in the 62nd minute of play. If Joel Ihintza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel Ihintza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gil Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Ihintza in the 70th minute of play. Gino Dias kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erivaldo Dracena got free with Marcinho Trevisan in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jumirim's goalkeeper Gil Souza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. MeninoMeuFC's Luisinho Faria got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Ihintza in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gil Souza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gil Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Ihintza in the 88th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Jumirim's Francisco Barbosa got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 91st minute, Erivaldo Dracena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute, Jorge Arantes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. MeninoMeuFC's Marcinho Trevisan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save MeninoMeuFC from getting a goal against them. When the referee ended the match the MeninoMeuFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
