Buerarama SC's Serafim Viana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oswaldo Gonçalves in the 11th minute of play. Oswaldo Gonçalves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Angicos SC fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Angicos SC's Oswaldo Gonçalves looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If João Rossi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valdo Prado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Rossi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Eduardo Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Serafim Viana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oswaldo Gonçalves, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Guto Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafim Viana having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Buerarama SC's goalkeeper Serafim Viana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guto Garcia. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Oswaldo Gonçalves made the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 51 in the game by Valdo Prado from a close distance when the talented Eduardo Toledo managed to make a qualified save. Angicos SC's players were relieved. João Augusto Antunes hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Valdo Prado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Toledo having to interfere. Serafim Viana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guto Garcia in the 60th minute of the match. Valdo Prado came free with the goalkeeper in the 67th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Eduardo Toledo could save by the left post. In the 69th match minute, Angicos SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Sanches to maneuver through the defense. When Angicos SC's Oswaldo Gonçalves in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Buerarama SC's goalie prevented a goal. Serafim Viana was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
