Spectators: 7039 (Terracing: 5414, Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 50) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Willian Figueiredo started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Barcellos's goal looked a bit too open when Dé Ferreira came free, but Valdir da Silveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 5th match minute, Barcellos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vivaldo Neiva to maneuver through the defense. Murilo Zonta made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Válbson Massa sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfredinho Soeiro got free with Murilo Zonta in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Willian Figueiredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Murilo Zonta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Barcellos's Carlos Pombal dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Válbson Massa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Anhoma's Dé Vieira got a free kick in the 27th minute. Christiano de Moraes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Anhoma booed when Barcellos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Pedro Goiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valdir da Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vânderson Saraiva in the 36th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dé Vieira in the 37th minute of play forced Barcellos's goalkeeper Valdir da Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Válbson Massa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murilo Zonta having to interfere. Murilo Zonta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Willian Figueiredo in the 47th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

If Carlos Pombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Murilo Zonta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Willian Figueiredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Jarbas Mineiro came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Anhoma fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jarbas Mineiro couldn't finish the play. In the 67th minute, Dé Ferreira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Murilo Zonta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Willian Figueiredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes in the game, Dé Ferreira fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Valdir da Silveira having to interfere. Barcellos's Valdir da Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vânderson Saraiva in the 87th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Zé Pedro Goiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Anhoma's Dé Ferreira tried to score from far away in the 89th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Dé Ferreira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anhoma's supporters rose to their feet, but Dé Ferreira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valdir da Silveira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Barcellos's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
