Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jerônimo de Moraes kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in EC São Gabriel's zone, Edgar Barros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lenílson de Andrade came out of the goal and Edgar Barros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lenílson de Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomé Trevisan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Adelino Lara managed to get in a good position for a shot. EC São Gabriel's supporters rose to their feet, but Adelino Lara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelo Aguiar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Célio Lopes's late challenge caught a BARRIGA DE CADELA FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Célio Lopes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11th match minute, EC São Gabriel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Célio Lopes to maneuver through the defense. Richard Figueiredo took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lenílson de Andrade. Lenílson de Andrade dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 16th match minute, BARRIGA DE CADELA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Róbson Britto to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th match minute, EC São Gabriel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdir Amaral to maneuver through the defense. Lenílson de Andrade came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by BARRIGA DE CADELA FC's Richard Figueiredo. But to his dismay, Richard Figueiredo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Tiago Vargas hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Róbson Britto missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 26 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Lenílson de Andrade right hand side. 31 minutes into the match, Richard Figueiredo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lenílson de Andrade. EC São Gabriel's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Richard Figueiredo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. EC São Gabriel's Lenílson de Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomé Trevisan in the 46th minute of play. With 47 minutes on the clock, Silvinho Arósio commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 47 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for EC São Gabriel!

Fernandão Romero kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. EC São Gabriel's Lenílson de Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Figueiredo in the 69th minute of play. Adelino Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Aguiar having to interfere. Tomé Trevisan came free with the goalkeeper in the 80th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lenílson de Andrade could save by the left post. EC São Gabriel's Lenílson de Andrade proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save EC São Gabriel from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Richard Figueiredo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lenílson de Andrade. That made the score 0-5 in the 86 minute of play. Richard Figueiredo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lenílson de Andrade read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. With a little luck, EC São Gabriel's Lenílson de Andrade got control of the ball when Tomé Trevisan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Valdir Amaral's late challenge caught a BARRIGA DE CADELA FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valdir Amaral helped the player get up and apologised. 95 minutes into the game, one of EC São Gabriel:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. BARRIGA DE CADELA FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
