After having played for 62 minutes, Ezequiel Braga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chantre United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ezequiel Braga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dalmo Cearense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sílvio Luís Dante in the 63rd minute of play. Chantre United's Ezequiel Braga got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Chantre United defense, Oscar Guedes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Germano Mesquita. The Chantre United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Germano Mesquita should have stopped the shot. Chantre United were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
