Tiago Corrêa came out of the goal and Dagoberto Negri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 12 minutes into the game, Adhemar Simões cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Tiago Corrêa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ryan Duggan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Breno Alcântara in the 16th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Samuca Loureiro during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The long shot by Osmar Nascimento in the 17th minute really tested Ryan Duggan's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Tiago Corrêa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafinha Santos in the 20th minute of the match. Cido Brasil hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute Rafinha Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Corrêa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cido Brasil during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cido Brasil hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorginho Valle got free with Ryan Duggan in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 33rd minute, Rafinha Santos made a precise shot to the right of Tiago Corrêa. FC DRAGÕES DA REAL's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. A collision led to Vigo da Gama Regatas getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Dagoberto Negri hit a great ball. Dagoberto Negri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Corrêa having to interfere. Tiago Corrêa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dagoberto Negri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiago Corrêa came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Vigo da Gama Regatas's Germano Fantini. But to his dismay, Germano Fantini quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After the first half Vigo da Gama Regatas were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Breno Alcântara stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tiago Corrêa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dagoberto Negri, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Rafinha Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Corrêa having to interfere. Tiago Corrêa didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 59th minute, which inside left pole to 0-5. Dagoberto Negri might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tiago Corrêa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dagoberto Negri ran back to his position shaking his head. Vigo da Gama Regatas's Germano Fantini got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dagoberto Negri might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tiago Corrêa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dagoberto Negri ran back to his position shaking his head. Tiago Corrêa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dagoberto Negri in the 66th minute of play. Rafinha Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute, Vigo da Gama Regatas's Adhemar Simões dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. The attack was good, but when Dagoberto Negri in the 76th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Samuca Loureiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Rafinha Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dagoberto Negris short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Tiago Corrêa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Rafinha Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 84th match minute, FC DRAGÕES DA REAL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horácio Guerra to maneuver through the defense. Adhemar Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Tiago Corrêa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Vigo da Gama Regatas booed when FC DRAGÕES DA REAL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cido Brasil didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute, Dagoberto Negri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Adhemar Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The FC DRAGÕES DA REAL fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Vigo da Gama Regatas were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
