When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Dagoberto Negri sped through CapellerFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Björn Ironside. In the 18th minute, Germano Fantini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ryan Duggan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ediberto Batista, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind CapellerFC's goalkeeper Björn Ironside, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Vigo da Gama Regatas getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Germano Fantini hit a great ball. If Dagoberto Negri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, CapellerFC's Felipe Vander got a free kick in the 31st minute. Germano Fantini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ryan Duggan came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by CapellerFC's Ediberto Batista. But to his dismay, Ediberto Batista quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Rafinha Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Björn Ironside having to interfere. Vigo da Gama Regatas's Ryan Duggan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giovanni Tepedino in the 41st minute of play.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Ediberto Batista in the 52nd minute of play forced Vigo da Gama Regatas's goalkeeper Ryan Duggan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Björn Ironside made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dagoberto Negri in the 54th minute of play. When Albertinho de Carvalho fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CapellerFC's protests and gave Albertinho de Carvalho a yellow card for diving instead. 59 minutes into the match, CapellerFC's goal looked a bit too open when Adhemar Simões came free, but Björn Ironside reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafinha Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Björn Ironside having to interfere. Dagoberto Negri might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Björn Ironside. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
