Cristóvão Freire scored 1-0 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elano de Salles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 9th minute Valério Tavares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Dias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Dias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Washington Meira, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 12 minutes into the match, M1TO RC's goal looked a bit too open when Valério Tavares came free, but Joel Dias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Dias came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Peaky Blinders's Valério Tavares. But to his dismay, Valério Tavares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Joel Dias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Washington Meira, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Washington Meira in the 20th minute of play forced M1TO RC's goalkeeper Joel Dias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in M1TO RC's zone, Vicente Albuquerque stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Dias came out of the goal and Vicente Albuquerque tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristóvão Freire struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Elano de Salles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for M1TO RC. Nelsinho Saldanha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Paulinho Rosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. M1TO RC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulinho Rosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elano de Salles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristóvão Freire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Peaky Blinders were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristóvão Freire to strike the kick off in the second half. Washington Meira received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Joel Dias came out and tried to block the shot, but Washington Meira slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 54th minute. Marquinhos Gaspar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Joel Dias. M1TO RC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Joel Dias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valério Tavares in the 57th minute. Rui Salgado hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. With a little luck, M1TO RC's Joel Dias got control of the ball when João Augusto Negri tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joel Dias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Washington Meira in the 63rd minute. Joel Dias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valério Tavares in the 65th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Valério Tavares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joel Dias. M1TO RC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valério Tavares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Adelino Neto charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adelino Neto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Adelino Neto hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in M1TO RC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 75th minute. Penalty! Romário Sousa shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 80th match minute, M1TO RC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manfredo Lima to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute of the match Romário Sousa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joel Dias showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 83rd minute, Peaky Blinders's Valério Tavares dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. Valério Tavares's late challenge caught a M1TO RC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valério Tavares helped the player get up and apologised. After 85 played minutes Peaky Blinders got a freekick which was hit by Valério Tavares. After 90 minutes of play, Peaky Blinders's Washington Meira made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joel Dias was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in M1TO RC's zone, Valério Tavares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Dias came out of the goal and Valério Tavares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
