Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Bebeto Simão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bebeto Simão struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Diamantino Zonta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tooncast FC. Raí Saldanha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guto Antunes having to interfere. The supporters of Tooncast FC booed when Associação Chapecoense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro Ribeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute, Bebeto Simão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raí Saldanha got free with Guto Antunes in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 22nd minute Nilmar Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guto Antunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Dedê de Moraes came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Tooncast FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dedê de Moraes couldn't finish the play. Tooncast FC's Guto Antunes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Tooncast FC from getting a goal against them. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Tooncast FC's Bebeto Simão got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nilton de Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Diamantino Zonta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Associação Chapecoense's goalkeeper Diamantino Zonta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bebeto Simão. Guto Antunes came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Associação Chapecoense's Cristiano Silva. But to his dismay, Cristiano Silva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 61 minutes into the match, Nilmar Cabral notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Tooncast FC's Guto Antunes. Guto Antunes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Guto Antunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilmar Cabral, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 66thth minute of the game Cristiano Silva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tooncast FC's Guto Antunes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 67th minute of the game, Ricardinho Santos landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Dedê de Moraes charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dedê de Moraes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dedê de Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bebeto Simão in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diamantino Zonta saved Associação Chapecoense from getting behind. Bebeto Simão who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Diamantino Zonta when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Cristiano Silva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guto Antunes was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. In the 77th minute, Joel Macedo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Associação Chapecoense fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Cristiano Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tooncast FC's Dedê de Moraes got his second yellow card of the match in the 96th minute. The referee ordered Dedê de Moraes off the ground. Dedê de Moraes hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Associação Chapecoense's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
