Seating: 1671, VIP seats: 100) The audience thought a goal was coming when Antônio Passos got free with Benjamim Cardoso in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Josué Pirani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benjamim Cardoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hamílton Vaz in the 20th minute of the match. Antônio Passos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Delfim Borges in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mazinho Félix prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Josué Pirani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 32 played minutes Veterano got a freekick which was hit by Edmílson Quadros. In the 34th minute Delfim Borges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mazinho Félix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Antônio Passos could shoot a difficult shot in the 45th minute, which Benjamim Cardoso however easily saved by the left post. In the 46th minute Hamílton Vaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamim Cardoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 48 minutes into the game, Cléber Carneiro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benjamim Cardoso. Cléber Carneiro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Delfim Borges stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Hamílton Vaz came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Queimacao fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hamílton Vaz couldn't finish the play. Albertinho Pires hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Antônio Passos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamim Cardoso having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delfim Borges in the 63rd minute of play forced Queimacao's goalkeeper Mazinho Félix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benjamim Cardoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cléber Carneiro in the 68th minute of the match. Benjamim Cardoso came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Queimacao's Hamílton Vaz. But to his dismay, Hamílton Vaz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After 73 played minutes Queimacao got a freekick which was hit by Hamílton Vaz. Delfim Borges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Mazinho Félix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute Josué Pirani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mazinho Félix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mazinho Félix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delfim Borges, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After having played for 79 minutes, Josué Pirani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Veterano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Josué Pirani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 83 played minutes Veterano got a freekick which was hit by Edmílson Quadros. Enrique Azevedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benjamim Cardoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Delfim Borges received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mazinho Félix came out and tried to block the shot, but Delfim Borges slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 85th minute. Benjamim Cardoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hamílton Vaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Hamílton Vaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Benjamim Cardoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Queimacao's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
