Spectators: 7227 (Terracing: 5422, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Orlando do Valle kicked off to start the match. With a little luck, KONOHA SPORT CLUB's Emerson Paraibano got control of the ball when Luiz Furlan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Celsinho Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Paes having to interfere. Emerson Paraibano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Furlan in the 10th minute. After a defensive mix-up in KONOHA SPORT CLUB's zone, Luiz Furlan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emerson Paraibano came out of the goal and Luiz Furlan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 16 minutes into the match, Sílvio Luís Carvalho notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Villa Nova's Donato Paes. Donato Paes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. KONOHA SPORT CLUB's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Orlando do Valle scored to the left of an out of position Emerson Paraibano, making the score, 1-1. If Celsinho Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in KONOHA SPORT CLUB's zone, Luiz Furlan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emerson Paraibano came out of the goal and Luiz Furlan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Celsinho Cunha scored 1-2 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Donato Paes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Emerson Paraibano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando do Valle in the 42nd minute of the match. If Celsinho Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emerson Paraibano made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Luiz Furlan sent off a good shot on target. Celsinho Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Luiz Furlan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Emerson Paraibano made a huge save.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Celsinho Cunha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Orlando do Valle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emerson Paraibano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Luiz Furlan notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of KONOHA SPORT CLUB's Emerson Paraibano. Emerson Paraibano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Furlan in the 61st minute of play forced KONOHA SPORT CLUB's goalkeeper Emerson Paraibano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute, Vivaldo Dracena made a precise shot to the right of Emerson Paraibano. KONOHA SPORT CLUB's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Emerson Paraibano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vivaldo Dracena in the 67th minute of the match. In the 68th minute Ulysses Rosado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emerson Paraibano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emerson Paraibano came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Villa Nova's Basílio Mello. But to his dismay, Basílio Mello quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Emerson Paraibano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulysses Rosado in the 76th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, KONOHA SPORT CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando do Valle came free, but Emerson Paraibano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute, Orlando do Valle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Villa Nova fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. Emerson Paraibano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Furlan, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 86th minute, Luiz Furlan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emerson Paraibano was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-2. In the 89thth minute of the game Orlando do Valle who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KONOHA SPORT CLUB's Emerson Paraibano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 91 minutes into the game, Celsinho Cunha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KONOHA SPORT CLUB's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Villa Nova the free kick. Villa Nova were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of KONOHA SPORT CLUB for a fine match.
