The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Túlio Magalhães might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Francisco Alagoano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francisco Alagoano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Túlio Magalhães in the 89th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Túlio Magalhães sped through Icarai's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Francisco Alagoano. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Paranapolis fully deserved thier win.
