The audience was convinced that Fiori Faria's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Francisco Alagoano was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Oséias Baptista hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. If Fiori Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Váldson Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Alagoano having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Váldson Lima got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 38th minute Váldson Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Alagoano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Guaramano FC booed when Icarai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oséias Baptista didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute of the match Gildo Vale shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Francisco Alagoano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Francisco Alagoano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fiori Faria went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. The supporters of Icarai booed when Guaramano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiago Gabriel Cardoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Icarai players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Guaramano FC were winning 0-3.

Guaramano FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Icarai the free kick. Francisco Alagoano made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Fiori Faria sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Guaramano FC's zone, João Adolfo Cordeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vágner Cearense came out of the goal and João Adolfo Cordeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 0-4 became the score in the 78th minute when Váldson Lima elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Lúcio Urbano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vágner Cearense having to interfere. If Váldson Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Icarai's Jeremias Correia got a free kick in the 88th minute. Francisco Alagoano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Váldson Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the match, Guaramano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lúcio Urbano came free, but Vágner Cearense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tiago Gabriel Cardoso during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Guaramano FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Tiago Gabriel Cardoso hit a great ball. Lúcio Urbano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Vágner Cearense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Guaramano FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
