Amadeu Paes's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Aírton Ferraz firmly grabbed it by the left post. Nando Batista didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Waldir Nunes went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Flayer de Munich's Amadeu Paes in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Amadeu Paes scored 1-1 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aírton Ferraz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 46 minutes into the match, Amadeu Paes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aírton Ferraz, 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tiago Paraense was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Tiago Paraense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aírton Ferraz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amadeu Paes in the 57th minute of the match. With a little luck, Flayer de Munich's Nando Batista got control of the ball when Waldir Nunes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nando Batista made an important save on a dangerous shot by Waldir Nunes in the 68th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amadeu Paes in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. Nando Batista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiago Paraense, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. When Amadeu Paes came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Flayer de Munich fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amadeu Paes couldn't finish the play. 87 minutes into the match, Breno Pinheiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aírton Ferraz. CHELSEA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Breno Pinheiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Flayer de Munich's Amadeu Paes got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Breno Pinheiro struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Aírton Ferraz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flayer de Munich. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeu Paes in the 97th minute of play forced CHELSEA's goalkeeper Aírton Ferraz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flayer de Munich's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
