Váldson Lima started the match with the kick off. When Restos de Aborto's Renatinho Eger in the 2nd minute got a chance for a shot 2nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Guaramano FC's goalie prevented a goal. Guaramano FC's Vágner Cearense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedito de Lara in the 4th minute of play. Fiori Faria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Guaramano FC's zone, Benedito de Lara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vágner Cearense came out of the goal and Benedito de Lara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Benedito de Lara came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Restos de Aborto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benedito de Lara couldn't finish the play. Benedito de Lara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 17 minutes, Cauã Meira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guaramano FC and the Restos de Aborto players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Restos de Aborto booed when Guaramano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cauã Meira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fiori Faria might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vitinho Veiga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fiori Faria ran back to his position shaking his head. Váldson Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 36th minute of the game. One of Restos de Aborto:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Guaramano FC:s goal. The goalkeeper, Vitinho Veiga, was totally fooled by Guaramano FC's Gildo Vale, who 38 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Váldson Lima in the 47th minute of play forced Restos de Aborto's goalkeeper Vitinho Veiga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Renatinho Eger to strike the kick off in the second half. Fiori Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Vitinho Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Renatinho Eger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Restos de Aborto's supporters rose to their feet, but Renatinho Eger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vágner Cearense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fiori Faria's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vitinho Veiga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Renatinho Eger kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vágner Cearense. That made the score 1-1 in the 72 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renatinho Eger in the 78th minute of play forced Guaramano FC's goalkeeper Vágner Cearense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Renatinho Eger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cauã Lucas struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Vágner Cearense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Restos de Aborto. Renatinho Eger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vágner Cearense having to interfere. Fiori Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Vitinho Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
