In the 27th match minute, Paranapolis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benê Guimarães to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Paranapolis's Robinho de Queiroz got a free kick in the 30th minute. Benê Gaspar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Túlio Magalhães in the 36th minute of play. After 38 minutes, Túlio Magalhães made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Di Calcanha's Benê Gaspar tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
