In the 27th minute, Benê Guimarães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fabiano Furtado in the 32nd minute of play forced Paranapolis's goalkeeper Falcão Barral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Falcão Barral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Váldson Ortiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Túlio Magalhães in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Celsinho Almeida prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Túlio Magalhães in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celsinho Almeida saved Manguinhos EC from getting behind. Adelino de Sousa in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Falcão Barral, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Luisinho Godoi hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. 47 minutes into the match, Paranapolis's goalkeeper Falcão Barral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adelino de Sousa. Paranapolis's Túlio Magalhães got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Manguinhos EC's Celsinho Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Túlio Magalhães in the 69th minute of play. Benê Guimarães hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute Váldson Ortiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Falcão Barral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celsinho Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmílson Goiano in the 86th minute of the match. Celsinho Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Túlio Magalhães in the 95th minute of play. The Paranapolis players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
