Flayer de Munich's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paranapolis the free kick. In the 2nd match minute, Flayer de Munich was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delfim Bueno to maneuver through the defense. Alfredinho Urbano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Paranapolis's Túlio Magalhães got a free kick in the 6th minute. Nando Batista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Túlio Magalhães in the 10th minute of play. Nando Batista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Túlio Magalhães, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. With a little luck, Flayer de Munich's Nando Batista got control of the ball when Alfredinho Urbano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Túlio Magalhães could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Nando Batista made a huge save. Túlio Magalhães who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Nando Batista when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Paranapolis getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Luisinho Godoi hit a great ball.

Nando Batista didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Túlio Magalhães went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Flayer de Munich's Nando Batista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Túlio Magalhães in the 57th minute of play. In the 63rd minute Alfredinho Urbano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nando Batista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Falcão Barral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Breno Pinheiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Nando Batista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Túlio Magalhães in the 69th minute of play. When Amadeu Paes came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Flayer de Munich fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amadeu Paes couldn't finish the play. After 85 played minutes Paranapolis got a freekick which was hit by Dráusio Bertassi. Amadeu Paes scored 2-2 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Falcão Barral, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
