The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Délio Gaúcho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Clóvis de Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clóvis de Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Délio Gaúcho, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Augusto Silveira in the 36th minute of play forced Don Peponi FC's goalkeeper Clóvis de Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Noel Novaes during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Délio Gaúcho to strike the kick off in the second half. Roberto Linhares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Carioca in the 59th minute of play. Délio Gaúcho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clóvis de Queirós having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as João Augusto Silveira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Clóvis de Queirós. That made the score 0-3 in the 65 minute of play. Moisés Ferraz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Clóvis de Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moisés Ferrazs short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Clóvis de Queirós to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Iratinga AD's Renatinho Ferreira got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Clóvis de Queirós stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Délio Gaúcho's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. A collision led to Don Peponi FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Noel Novaes hit a great ball. If Délio Gaúcho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Délio Gaúcho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. With his leg Clóvis de Queirós managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Iratinga AD's Moisés Ferraz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Moisés Ferraz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Clóvis de Queirós having to make a save. Iratinga AD's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
