The audience thought a goal was coming when Danilo Leite got free with Manoel Arce in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Betinho França received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Angelo Siqueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nico Cordeiro scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angelo Siqueira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Manoel Arce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardinho Neto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manoel Arce made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Danilo Leite sent off a good shot on target. After 25 played minutes 3 Setembro EC got a freekick which was hit by Bernardinho Neto. Reginaldo Sarmento hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Nico Cordeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the game, Rubinho Vergílio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 3 Setembro EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlético Aliança the free kick. Rubinho Vergílio hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Atlético Aliança's Fabinho Cardozo got a free kick in the 36th minute. Manoel Arce made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Danilo Leite sent off a good shot on target. Bernardinho Neto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 44 played minutes Atlético Aliança got a freekick which was hit by Aílton França. 45 minutes into the match, Atlético Aliança's goalkeeper Manoel Arce had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Danilo Leite. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Angelo Siqueira came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Aliança's Reginaldo Sarmento. But to his dismay, Reginaldo Sarmento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. A collision led to Atlético Aliança getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Fabinho Cardozo hit a great ball. Bernardinho Neto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reginaldo Sarmento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th match minute, Atlético Aliança was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nico Cordeiro to maneuver through the defense. Nico Cordeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Angelo Siqueira made a huge save. Reginaldo Sarmento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Angelo Siqueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Danilo Leite came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the 3 Setembro EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danilo Leite couldn't finish the play. The 3 Setembro EC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Atlético Aliança's performance. The match ended with a win for Atlético Aliança.
