Manoel Arce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sandro Peres's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manoel Arce read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. The supporters of Curralzinho booed when Atlético Aliança was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Betinho França didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Aliança's zone, Paulinho de Senna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manoel Arce came out of the goal and Paulinho de Senna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 17 minutes into the game, Nico Cordeiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atlético Aliança's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Curralzinho the free kick. Nico Cordeiro hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the match, Curralzinho's Paulinho de Senna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manoel Arce narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulinho de Senna made a kick off. 65 minutes into the match, Curralzinho's Paulinho de Senna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manoel Arce narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 68 minutes into the game, Zé Paulo Soares recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Manoel Arce. Zé Paulo Soares showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. 78 minutes into the match, Curralzinho's goal looked a bit too open when Nico Cordeiro came free, but Manuel Quirino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sandro Peres kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Manuel Quirino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nico Cordeiro's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. The supporters of Atlético Aliança booed when Curralzinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luizão Berger didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Aliança's zone, Luisão Pinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manoel Arce came out of the goal and Luisão Pinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manoel Arce made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Paulinho de Senna sent off a good shot on target. Leandro Queiroz kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Curralzinho's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
