Spectators: 7226 (Terracing: 5421, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nico Cordeiro took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Dito Faria fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vastar FC's protests and gave Dito Faria a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th minute, Dito Faria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reginaldo Sarmento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renatinho Carvalho having to interfere. After having played for 13 minutes, Richard Negri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vastar FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Richard Negri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Nico Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute, Reginaldo Sarmento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manoel Arce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeferson Carneiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reginaldo Sarmento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 28th minute, Simão Botelho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vastar FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Reginaldo Sarmento struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Renatinho Carvalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético Aliança. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jeferson Carneiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Elói de Sousa hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Manoel Arce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeferson Carneiro in the 62nd minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Vastar FC's goalkeeper Renatinho Carvalho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reginaldo Sarmento. Nico Cordeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Renatinho Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Richard Negri struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Manoel Arce didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vastar FC. Dito Faria scored 2-0 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manoel Arce, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vastar FC's goalkeeper Renatinho Carvalho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Simão Botelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Manoel Arce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Simão Botelho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dito Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Manoel Arce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Vastar FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Atlético Aliança had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
