Spectators: 7345 (Terracing: 5511, Seating: 1689, VIP seats: 145) Real Cruz's Bernardinho Amaral started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jeremias Matos kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After having played for 8 minutes, Danilo Leite managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 3 Setembro EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danilo Leite was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 11 played minutes 3 Setembro EC got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Dracena. Kiko Mandrak kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Angelo Siqueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardinho Amaral in the 18th minute of the match. After 20th play minutes Bernardinho Amaral shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Angelo Siqueira and just under the crossbar into goal. Fabiano Vieira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardinho Neto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cipriano Borges made in the 28th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Bernardinho Amaral. In the 28thth minute of the game Bernardinho Amaral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 3 Setembro EC's Angelo Siqueira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to 3 Setembro EC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Leandro Dracena hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Real Cruz's Rafa Paraibano got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Real Cruz's Fabiano Vieira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardinho Neto in the 34th minute of play. After 38 played minutes 3 Setembro EC got a freekick which was hit by Rubinho Vergílio. Rogério Lara was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 43 minutes into the match. 43 minutes into the game, one of Real Cruz:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 45 minutes Real Cruz's goalkeeper Fabiano Vieira managed, with a little bit of luck, save Hudson Coutinho's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bernardinho Neto to strike the kick off in the second half. Fabiano Vieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardinho Neto in the 52nd minute of play. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Bernardinho Amaral sped through 3 Setembro EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Angelo Siqueira. In the 59th minute of the match Real Cruz got a corner. 3 Setembro EC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luís Fernando Arce ran over to the corner to take the kick. Luís Fernando Arce made a great header on Real Cruz's corner, it was just that 3 Setembro EC's Angelo Siqueira managed to reach the ball for a save. Real Cruz's Jeremias Matos suffered a sore foot after 63 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 63 minutes into the game, Kiko Mandrak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 3 Setembro EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Cruz the free kick. In the 64th minute, Kiko Mandrak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 65 played minutes Real Cruz got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Hames. Fabiano Vieira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardinho Neto in the 67th minute of the match. Bernardinho Amaral blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Angelo Siqueira having to make a save. Bernardinho Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Siqueira having to interfere. Osvaldo Hames recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Bernardinho Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in 3 Setembro EC's zone, Rafa Paraibano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Siqueira came out of the goal and Rafa Paraibano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alex Pena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Siqueira having to interfere. If Bernardinho Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Real Cruz's Fabiano Vieira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Brasil in the 86th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in 3 Setembro EC's zone, Bernardinho Amaral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Siqueira came out of the goal and Bernardinho Amaral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leandro Dracena charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leandro Dracena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 88 played minutes 3 Setembro EC got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Dracena. With a little luck, 3 Setembro EC's Angelo Siqueira got control of the ball when Luís Fernando Arce tried to sneak it across the goal line.
