A collision led to Vastar FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Wilton Teixeira hit a great ball. The supporters of Real Cruz booed when Vastar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Negri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardinho Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Renatinho Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Pedro Dias kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Bernardinho Amaral hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute, Real Cruz's Rogério Lara seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Rogério Lara the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Real Cruz protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rogério Lara had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Real Cruz fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 20th minute. Penalty! Real Cruz:s Fabiano Vieira showed great skill when he stopped Igor Veloso:s penalty. After a defensive mix-up in Vastar FC's zone, Marcel Ceresso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renatinho Carvalho came out of the goal and Marcel Ceresso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Renatinho Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardinho Amaral in the 28th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernardinho Amaral in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Renatinho Carvalho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vastar FC's Renatinho Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Matos in the 38th minute of play. Renatinho Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardinho Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st match minute, Real Cruz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Borges to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute of the match Igor Veloso sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabiano Vieira skillfully saved the ball. Rafa Paraibano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Jeferson Carneiro made the kick off in the second half. Renatinho Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardinho Amaral in the 55th minute of the match. Renatinho Carvalho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernardinho Amaral in the 59th minute. In the 67th minute, Real Cruz's Bernardinho Amaral ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Renatinho Carvalho. Renatinho Carvalho yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Alex Pena blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Renatinho Carvalho having to make a save. In the 73rd minute, Bernardinho Amaral fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Renatinho Carvalho, passed just outside the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeremias Matos got free with Renatinho Carvalho in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bernardinho Amaral's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Renatinho Carvalho skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 93rdth minute of the game Bernardinho Amaral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vastar FC's Renatinho Carvalho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Real Cruz's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
