In the 15th minute, Sandro Peres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Curralzinho's Ian Prestes quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Isaltino Vasconcelos, made in the 20th minute of the game. The supporters of Curralzinho booed when APCV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otávio Bastos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute, Otávio Bastos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Manuel Quirino made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Filipe de Andrade sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Curralzinho's Manuel Quirino got control of the ball when Zé Paulo Baiano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zé Paulo Baiano to make the kick off. Curralzinho's Manuel Quirino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Paulo Baiano in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Curralzinho's goal looked a bit too open when Filipe de Andrade came free, but Manuel Quirino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sandro Peres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 64 played minutes Curralzinho got a freekick which was hit by Paulinho de Senna. Manuel Quirino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Paulo Baiano in the 69th minute of the match. After 83 minutes, Otávio Bastos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the APCV and the Curralzinho players grew even worse after the yellow card. 97 minutes into the game, Filipe de Andrade cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Manuel Quirino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Curralzinho's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
