Spectators: 7351 (Terracing: 5514, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 147) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jacinto de Sousa started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Raimundo Eduino dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of José Pedro Pereira, 1-0. José Pedro Pereira came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Olympique Do Marcelo's Jacinto de Sousa. But to his dismay, Jacinto de Sousa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 15th match minute, the snaks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Augusto de Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the match, the snaks's goal looked a bit too open when Cássio Bueno came free, but José Pedro Pereira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Júlio Esteves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Pedro Pereira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacinto de Sousa in the 23rd minute. In the 25th minute Júlio Esteves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinícius Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Olympique Do Marcelo's Jacinto de Sousa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Pedro Pereira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. José Pedro Pereira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cássio Bueno went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Raimundo Eduino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. José Pedro Pereira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 36 minutes of play, the snaks's Júlio Esteves made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vinícius Cruz was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Olympique Do Marcelo's Cícero Bertassi got a free kick in the 38th minute. Olympique Do Marcelo's Cássio Bueno got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when José Augusto de Azevedo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sandrinho de Carvalho during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sandrinho de Carvalho hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After 55 minutes Olympique Do Marcelo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Adriano Hermes who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Adriano Hermes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vinícius Cruz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience cheered when Adriano Hermes's long shot passed Vinícius Cruz's right side. It was 5-2, 55 minutes into the match. Cássio Bueno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. José Pedro Pereira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cássio Bueno in the 63rd minute of the match. Hílton Vianna's late challenge caught a Olympique Do Marcelo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hílton Vianna helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Olympique Do Marcelo booed when the snaks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hílton Vianna didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 74 minutes, Cássio Bueno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olympique Do Marcelo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cássio Bueno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 76th minute, Cássio Bueno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olympique Do Marcelo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-2. Cássio Bueno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Pedro Pereira having to interfere. 84 minutes into the game, Nelson Santana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olympique Do Marcelo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave the snaks the free kick. In the 84th match minute, Olympique Do Marcelo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nelson Santana to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that José Augusto de Azevedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vinícius Cruz was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. After 86 minutes, Ulisses Antunes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olympique Do Marcelo and the the snaks players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 86 played minutes Olympique Do Marcelo got a freekick which was hit by Ulisses Antunes. If José Augusto de Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacinto de Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Pedro Pereira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto de Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. There was no doubt that Olympique Do Marcelo were the better team. Olympique Do Marcelo's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
