José Pedro Pereira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kiko Braga in the 16th minute of the match. the snaks's José Pedro Pereira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flávio da Silveira in the 17th minute of play. Márcio de Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Augusto de Azevedo in the 20th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Augusto de Azevedo in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Márcio de Sousa saved Eletro Power from getting behind. When Jailson da Fonseca fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eletro Power's protests and gave Jailson da Fonseca a yellow card for diving instead. After 31 played minutes, Eletro Power's Anselmo Tepedino shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper José Pedro Pereira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Eletro Power reached it. 34 minutes into the match, Eletro Power's goal looked a bit too open when José Augusto de Azevedo came free, but Márcio de Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kiko Braga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Pedro Pereira having to interfere. When Eletro Power's Kiko Braga in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye the snaks's goalie prevented a goal. 48 minutes into the match, the snaks's José Augusto de Azevedo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Márcio de Sousa narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Flávio da Silveira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, the snaks's goal looked a bit too open when Flávio da Silveira came free, but José Pedro Pereira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. the snaks's Júlio Esteves got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 72 minutes into the match, Eletro Power's goal looked a bit too open when Júlio Esteves came free, but Márcio de Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kiko Braga got free with José Pedro Pereira in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. José Pedro Pereira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roberto Diniz went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Márcio de Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Augusto de Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 87th minute, André Aguiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 88 minutes into the match, Eletro Power's Anselmo Tepedino broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a rather tough play, Eletro Power's Norberto Gomes got a free kick in the 96th minute. Márcio de Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júlio Esteves in the 97th minute of the match.
